Packs MUST send in the eligibility form with qualified racers and design winners. Racers and design winners then have to pre-register with payment to be eligible to compete. The first-fifth race winners in each pack will race for the district trophies and five car design winners from each pack will compete for five design trophies.
Eligibility
Champion Class: Pack race winners only, 1st -5th at pack level. Scouts must be present during competition.
Design Class: 1st – 5th Pack winners. Judging criteria: Uniqueness, Imagination, craftsmanship, color usage, detailing, graphics and Scout participation.
Open Class: Any registered Cub Scout in the Elkhorn District, regardless of pack pinewood derby results (No Adults or Siblings)
Outlaw Class: Adults, Scouts and siblings are eligible. Must be official BSA parts and can weigh up to 7 ounces. Can be modified in any way, as long as it fits and runs on track.
All cars must meet car specifications and eligibility requirements. As per official 2013 Pinewood Derby Racing Specifications and Rules (See attached sheet). Absolutely no kit cars other than BSA Official Pinewood Derby kit cars will be allowed to race. All Cub Scouts must be present to race their cars.

$8.00 Pre-registration for all race classes…by March 19
$2.00 Walk in fee added after March 19
