Venturing Training

Introduction to Leadership Skills for Crews (ILSC)  is the first course in the series of leadership training offered to Venturers and is a replacement for the Venturing Leadership Skills Course. Completion of Introduction to Leadership Skills for Crews is a prerequisite for Venturers to participate in the more advanced leadership courses—National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) and the National Advance Youth Leadership Experience (NAYLE).  It is also required for Kodiak. ILSC will begin at 8:30am and will conclude at 1:00pm.  We will be having most of the class work indoors, but bring a camp chair for an outdoor option. Be prepared to take notes and participate!  Lunch will be provided!

Venturing Leader Job Specific (VLS) offered Saturday October 13th from 8:30am until 1:00pm.  This training is required for all Venturing Advisors and Associate Advisors to be considered TRAINED!

YOU MUST SIGN UP USING THE FORM BELOW so we will have enough materials and know that space we need to conduct the trainings.  Registration MUST be in the Council office by the end of workday Monday Oct. 8th. No walk-ins. These trainings are open to all Venture leaders, crew members and parents.
