District Committee Training Workshop
The district committee provides an integral service within the council, communicating between the scout units and the Blue Grass Council. An effective district committee will provide a well-rounded program for the units and manage the finance and membership needed to support those programs.
There are four basic functions of a district committee: finance, membership, program, and unit service. A series of sub-committees accomplish these tasks. This workshop will focus on the tasks, roles, responsibilities and the relationships of both volunteer and professional positions.
