WHO MAY ATTEND 

Any registered adult BSA Leader. This course certifies you as an NRA Instructor. Your certification does allow you to take a troop to a range and sign off as a merit badge counselor for rifle or shotgun merit badges as long as you register as a BSA Merit Badge Counselor.

DISCIPLINES AVAILABLE - (you many only choose one) COST

· Rifle Instructor $125.00
· Pistol  Instructor $125.00

Cost includes ammunition, classroom materials and NRA Basic Instructor Training (required).

Cost does not include final certification processing fees or NRA membership. Participants will be required to file final certification paperwork with fees after completing the course. You must pay these fees in order to teach as an NRA Instructor. NRA Membership fee - $35.00

 REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration deadline is Friday, March 15th. This deadline has been established to allow us ample time for supplies to arrive. In emergency cases we may be able to add additional individuals. Please contact us with any questions you may have regarding the course. Payment is due with registration. Details regarding course syllabus, time schedules for the weekend, food arrangements etc., will be sent to you upon your attendance confirmation.   

Please be on time Friday evening. Instruction will begin at 6:00 pm. There will be no evening meal on Friday, however, there will be a "cracker barrel" at the end of the instructional period.

You will be bunking in the Keeneland Lodge on camp property. Cots will be provided, but you must bring your own sleeping bag or linens and pillow. If you would prefer to bring your own tent and equipment, please let us know in advance so that we may reserve a campsite for you.
